What ever happened to truth in advertising?

TXU claims they don't have variable rates. If that's true, then why did they charge me $0.1536000 in July and $0.1439800 in October. And, according to my December bill, they're charging me for 600 kWh at $0.1498900 and 29kWh at $0.1343500. That sounds like a variable rate plan to me.

And, I'm sure everyone has seen or at least heard of the Verizon vs AT&T rivalry. Verizon has been pointing out AT&T's 3G coverage short-comings and AT&T is not happy. When it became clear AT&T wasn't going to get anywhere with their lawsuit, they decided to make their own commercial to point some of Verizon's short-comings. AT&T says you can't talk on your Verizon phone and surf the web at the same time. That's funny, I was actually doing exactly that when I saw the commercial.
