When I got home from work last night, there was a note on the door from the apartment office. All it said was something about they're having "electricity related issues" and they hope to have them cleared up within the next 24 hours. What The Frak does that mean?! Seriously. Does it mean the office is without power? Or, does it mean that some of the buildings will be without power? Although, we don't get our power from the apartment complex, we get it straight from the electric company.
Well, I found out this morning exactly what "electricity related issues" means. No hot water. No hot water isn't a big deal when it's 80° or 90° outside. The temperature of the ground around the water pipes will help warm the water a little. BUT, when it's 30° outside, that means really cold water. I tried taking a shower, but the water was so cold, it hurt. If I would have known last night that we didn't have hot water, I could have made other arrangements. Bastards!
