FRAK ME!! My XBOX360 just went tits-up. I'm playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, I'm about to get 11 kills without dieing to get the AC 130 Gunship killstreak award and my screen just freezes. JUST AS I'M MAKING THAT 11TH KILL!! So, I turn off the console, wait a minute and turn it back on. 3 red flashing lights around the power button.

MS has extended the standard 1 year warranty, so they won't be charging me anything to repair it. They're even sending me a pre-paid shipping label. The trouble is, it will take 3 to 4 business to get the label and Gawd knows how long for the console to get to them. Then, "The average time to repair a console for customers in the United States and Canada is between 14 and 21 days." So, I'm looking at about a month.

Crap, I don't even know how I'm going to get through the rest of the weekend. IT'S ONLY FRIDAY!!

(ETA) I'm tempted to head up to GameStop and pick up a refurb unit. (I said "unit")
