Antoinette and I are getting a house. It's one of those "lease-then-buy" deals. We'll lease the house for 6 to 9 months, while we're working with a company to help with our credit. Then, we'll buy the house. Plus, the money we're putting down to get into the house will go toward the down payment when we buy. AND, 30% of what we pay in rent between now and when we buy will go to the down payment too.
