Time for a little EDC-related reviewage.

I purchased a "AA Waterproof Delrin Battery Locker" from CountyComm.com. It will actually hold a AA battery, but I use it as a "cash stash." I keep a folded and rolled up $5.00 in it, and I can also drop in a few Advil. The screw-on cap is pre-drilled to accommodate a key ring.





Delrin is DuPont's registered trade name for polyoxymethylene (POM). POM is also known as acetal, polyacetal and polyformaldahyde. It is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts that require high stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability. County Comm does a lot of government contracts and then sells the surplus.

County Comm has 2 other battery lockers - the "AAA Waterproof Delrin Battery Locker" and the "CR123 Waterproof Delrin Battery Locker". And, they have a smaller "Waterproof Delrin Storage Capsule" and a larger "Waterproof Delrin Safe".
