I can't believe I haven't posted this already. Last Friday (06/21/2013) I bought a brand new (only 9 miles on the odometer) 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport. 3.6L, 24 Valve VVT (Variable Valve Timing), V6 with 285 HP and 260 LB-FT Torque.

I'll be posting more pictures soon.

I Love it! I had a 1998 Jeep Wrangler with a tiny V4 and this new one has A LOT more power. My '98 Wrangler was a 5-speed stick and this one is an automatic. I know, I know. Hardcore Jeepers are going to give me a hard time, but I don't care. Almost every car I've ever owned has been a stick, and that's not even counting the motorcycles. So, I'm a little tired of shifting gears, especially since most of my commute is usually in stop-and-go traffic. Plus, when I went to the dealership to buy this one, they only had 1 stick on the lot and it was an Unlimited and I just CANNOT do a 4-door Jeep.

There have been a lot of changes to the Jeep Wrangler in the past 15 years. They dropped the base model. When I bought my first one in '98, they had the Wrangler (base model with the V4 engine and pretty much no other features - I had them add the speaker bar (attaches to the center roll-bar hoop), A/C, 6-speaker stereo and a CD changer, along with a few other things that I can't remember right now), the Wrangler Sport which stepped up to a V6, the Wrangler Sahara, and the Wrangler Rubicon (at least, I think they had the Rubicon back then). Now, the Sport is the base model, then comes the Sport S, the Sahara, and the Rubicon. And, they've also added the Unlimited (4-door) in those same models. They all have the V6. They also have special and limited addition models, but I won't go into those here.
