Here's something really stupid that Blogger does. First of all, when someone leaves a comment on one of your blog posts, you can't simply "Reply" to the comment. You have to leave another comment. Then, (and here's the stupid part) if you have it configured to email you when someone leaves a comment, when you leave comment, trying to "Reply" to someone else's comment, you'll get an email. As if you didn't know that you just left a comment on your own blog.
