Why is it that Internet search engines "think" they know what you're looking for? I was searching for an old friend named Tammey. But, Google asks "Did you mean 'Tammy'?" Just because that is the most common spelling of the name, doesn't mean that is the only spelling of the name. If I was doing a search about Washington, D.C. and typed in "washingtun d.c." I would expect it to suggest "washington" since that is the correct spelling of that city's name.
