This is something I have always disliked about FB: If I comment on a friend's status, I really do not need to know when other people also commented. I understand why FB feels the need to notify about that, but it would be nice if I could turn that off.

Also, if one of my friends comments on one of their friend's (as in, someone else who isn't my friend) photos, I seriously DO NOT need to know about that.
