Why, why, why did I rejoin FB? Seriously.

I decided to add some stuff to the "Likes and Interests" section of my profile. I added a bunch of musical artists that I like, as well as some favorite movies and authors. As I was typing each one, I noticed the name was being auto-populated and I thought, "That's cool. FB has a database of all that stuff." NOPE. What was being auto-populated were user-created groups. And, FB started showing the updates from these groups in my News Feed/Top News.

I can control who's updates I see in the News Feed/Top News except for mine. Why the heck do I need to see my own updates? I know I just uploaded a picture!
